Planned Road Closure – Stock Lane (9 July 2025)

A sign has been placed on Stock Lane indicating a full-day closure on Tuesday 9th July 2025. With Ladymead Lane also currently closed, this raised concerns about access to the school and surgery.

Thanks to our Chair Cllr Jackie Bush for bringing this to our attention. We immediately contacted the Road Closure Team at North Somerset Council, who have since spoken with the developer working on Ladymead Lane.

As a result, the developer has agreed to reopen Ladymead Lane on 9th July, ensuring continued access to the school and surgery during the Stock Lane closure.
