DESCRIPTION:August 11 – The Old Rectory\, Ruishton and Desert to Jungle  Minibus £8  Garden entry £5 \n\nTraces of the old rectory garden\, plus a range of new beds. A terrace overlooks compact formal lawns and walled garden with attractive rope roses\, wisteria tunnel and herbaceous beds. A productive vegetable garden and espalier fruit trees. Lawns leading to a wildlife area with pond. At the front\, a newly designed driveway and fountain garden frame the house. Because it’s just around the corner we’ll also visit Desert To Jungle\, a unique specialist exotic plant nursery. There will be room in the van if you want to buy something! \nJohn Simmons has arranged a monthly garden visit using the Churchill and Langford minibus. \nThe journey offers not just a scenic ride but an opportunity to explore one of the area’s most beautiful gardens. The minibus fare is only £5\, and the garden entry is £8. \nSpaces are limited to 12 passengers and it’s first-come\, first-served.
