🚧 Temporary Road Closure: Stock Lane, Langford – August 2026

North Somerset Council has given notice that Stock Lane, Langford will be temporarily closed to vehicles from 10th August 2026 to allow Openreach to carry out a telegraph pole replacement.

📅 Expected duration: Approximately 2 days

📍 Location of works:
From near the junction with Brinsea Road / Brinsea Batch, heading east along Stock Lane for approximately 325 metres.

🚨 Access will be maintained for:

  • Emergency services

  • Works vehicles

  • Residents whose properties can only be accessed via the closed section, where safe to do so

The legal order allows works to take place within an 18-month period, but the closure is only expected to be in place for the short period needed to complete the works. Traffic signs will be displayed while the closure is active.
