🚧 Temporary Road Closure: Bath Road, Burrington – May 2026

North Somerset Council has given notice that Bath Road, Burrington will be temporarily closed to vehicles on 31st May 2026 to allow Openreach to carry out pole replacement and testing works.

🕒 Expected duration: Approximately 4 hours
Time: 8:00am – 12:00pm

📍 Location of works:
Bath Road, from the junction with the B3134, extending approximately 1,460 metres westwards.

🚨 Access will be maintained for:

  • Emergency services

  • Works vehicles

  • Properties that can only be accessed via the closed section, where safe to do so

Although the legal order allows for works within an 18-month period, the road closure is expected to be in place only for the short period needed to complete the works. Traffic signs will be displayed while the closure is active.
