Temporary Road Closure: Langford Road, Langford – April 2026
North Somerset Council has given notice that Langford Road will be temporarily closed to vehicles and cyclists from 1st April 2026 to allow for drainage investigation works.
🕒 Expected duration: 2 working days
Time: 8:00am to 5:00pm
⚠️ The legal notice allows for up to 5 days, but the closure is expected to be shorter.
📍 Location of works:
From the junction with Blackmoor to the junction with the A38 Bypass
🚨 Access will be maintained for:
- Emergency services
- Residents and properties within the closure, where safe to do so
- Works vehicles
🚗 Alternative route:
Via Stock Lane and the Bypass (and vice versa)
Traffic management and signage will be in place during the works.
