Location: Street End Lane – from outside Stony Batch to outside The Haven
Reason: National Grid overhead line works

North Somerset Council has issued a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order for Street End Lane, Blagdon, to allow National Grid to carry out essential overhead line reconductoring.

During this time, vehicles will not be able to use the closed section of the road. However, access will still be allowed for:

  • Emergency services

  • Residents whose homes are within the closure

  • Works vehicles and site access as required

The closure is being put in place for public safety and will be clearly signposted while in effect. Although the order lasts up to 18 months, the work is expected to take just three days.
