Temporary Road Closure: Duck Lane, Langford – May 2026
North Somerset Council has confirmed that Duck Lane, Langford will be temporarily closed to vehicles from 11th May 2026 to allow National Grid to carry out overhead line works.
📅 Expected duration: Approximately 5 days
📍 Location of works:
From outside Spring Gardens to Elm Farm
🚨 Access will be maintained for:
- Emergency services
- Works vehicles
- Residents whose properties can only be accessed via the closed section, where safe to do so
⚠️ While the legal order allows for works within an 18-month period, the closure is only expected to be in place for a short period of around five days.
Traffic management and signage will be in place while the works are carried out.
