In accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14(1), the North Somerset Council has issued a Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order for Dinghurst Road. This directive has been enacted to facilitate crucial infrastructure work by Bristol Water, specifically for a new connection.

The specifics of this order entail a temporary closure to vehicle traffic on parts of Dinghurst Road as detailed in the Schedule to this notice. The road will be inaccessible outside the property known as Beech Barn. The order is set to last for a maximum duration of eighteen months, with the anticipated closure expected to span two days to ensure the safety of the public and workers alike.
Exemptions to this closure include:
- Emergency service vehicles
- Access for works and works vehicles
- Entry to premises accessible only through the closed segment of Dinghurst Road
