The defibrillator at the Memorial Hall is for all!

We’ve received reports of a man going door-to-door to raise funds for a defibrillator on behalf of the British Heart Foundation. Sadly, he is also spreading false information, saying the defibrillator at the Memorial Hall is only for staff use. This is absolutely NOT true!

Fact Check: The defibrillator at the Memorial Hall is there to save lives, and it’s for everyone in the community. Can you imagine checking for a staff lanyard during a heart attack? Ridiculous, right?

Please know that this is misinformation. The defibrillator is for everyone, and we sincerely hope you never need it. Stay safe and spread the word!
