Are you passionate about making Churchill and Langford better places to live? Do you want to contribute to your community? Churchill Parish Council is calling for new counsellors, and we want YOU to join us!
At Churchill Parish Council, we consist of the lovely villages of Churchill and Langford. With 13 Parish Councillors, elected every four years or co-opted when a vacancy pops up, we work tirelessly (and sometimes with a bit of humour) to keep our parish thriving. We do it all for the love of our community, without any financial compensation.
Now, you might wonder, “Is this going to be like an episode of The Vicar of Dibley?” Absolutely not! While we do have our fair share of chuckles, we also take our roles seriously. Our main goal is to keep the welfare of our parish and its parishioners at the heart of everything we do. Plus, we make sure every penny of your Council Tax is spent wisely, benefiting you and your neighbours.
So, why join us?
- Make a Real Impact: Be a voice for your community and help shape the future of Churchill and Langford.
- Have Fun: We’re a friendly bunch, and while we work hard, we believe in having a good time too.
- No Drama: Unlike the Handforth Parish Council saga, our meetings are constructive, inclusive, and yes, sometimes a bit entertaining.
If you’re ready to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you! Join the Churchill Parish Council and become a counsellor that’s as committed to making our parish a better place as it is to sharing a laugh.
Get involved. Make a change. Have some fun.
