In response to feedback from customers and partners, the mobile library service is trialling a return to its regular timetabled stops in a new vehicle from Tuesday, 30 July (week 1 in the timetable pattern). This will allow customers to collect their reservations and return books. The service will update its website with a service message to reflect this change and will be emailing mobile library customers this week.
The service will be delivered using a white van marked with North Somerset Council logos and displaying the mobile library A-Frame sign, which will be parked in the usual location at your local stop(s).
Customers can reserve books and audiobooks online at www.librarieswest.org.uk with their library card and PIN. If assistance is needed, they are encouraged to get in touch with the mobile library team. Additionally, customers can visit any North Somerset library (and those in neighbouring authorities) to borrow items with their library card. For those unable to visit a branch, a range of library services including eBooks and eAudiobooks are available for free online at www.librarieswest.org.uk.
For any questions, please contact the mobile library team at 01275 888 864 or mobile.library@n-somerset.gov.uk.
