We are exploring the idea of creating a Grow Club on one of our allotments and would love your thoughts.
The plan is to have a shared growing space where a skilled gardener teaches the basics of growing flowers, fruit and vegetables. It would be very hands on and relaxed, learning as you grow through the seasons.
This would be ideal for people who are interested in growing but do not want the responsibility of their own allotment, or simply do not have the time to fully commit. You could still enjoy being outdoors, learning new skills and being part of a friendly, like minded group. The gardener would be a paid role and anyone taking part would be able to learn for free.
Before we apply for funding, we want to find out if this is something people would actually like.
