🚧 Temporary Road Closure: Langford Road, Langford – July 2026
North Somerset Council has given notice that Langford Road will be temporarily closed to vehicles from 13th July 2026 to allow Wales & West Utilities to carry out works to lay a new gas service.
📅 Expected duration: Approximately 4 days
📍 Location of works:
From outside Langford House Lodge to the junction with Maysmead Lane
🚨 Access will be maintained for:
- Emergency services
- Works vehicles
- Residents and properties within the closure, where safe to do so
⚠️ While the legal order allows for works within an 18-month period, the closure is only expected to be in place for a short period of around four days.
Traffic management and signage will be in place while the works are carried out.
