🚧 Temporary Road Closure: Street End & Rhodyate, Blagdon – May 2026
North Somerset Council has given notice that Street End and Rhodyate, Blagdon will be temporarily closed to vehicles and cyclists from 1st May 2026 to allow for carriageway patching works.
🕒 Expected duration: 1 working day
Time: 9:30am to 3:30pm
⚠️ The legal notice allows for up to 5 days, but the works are expected to be completed within one day.
📍 Location of works:
From the Street End junction with Bath Road (A368) through to the Rhodyate junction with Ellick Road
🚨 Access will be maintained for:
- Emergency services
- Residents and properties within the closure, where safe to do so
- Works vehicles
🚗 Alternative route:
Via Ellick Road, Burrington Combe, The Combe, Rushway, Bath Road, The Batch, The Coombe and High Street
(and vice versa)
Traffic management and signage will be in place during the works.
