Temporary one-way system: Ladymead Lane, Churchill
From 28th September 2026, a temporary one-way system will be in place on Ladymead Lane while works continue at the Churchill traffic lights.
Affected section:
Ladymead Lane from the A38 Bristol Road junction to Turnpike Close.
Traffic direction:
Vehicles will be able to travel south to north only.
This means you can enter Ladymead Lane from the A38 and travel northbound, but you will not be able to travel southbound along this section to exit onto the A38.
The restriction is expected to be needed for around 27 weeks, depending on the progress of the works.
Alternative route:
Ladymead Lane, Pudding Pie Lane, B3133 Stock Lane and A38 Bristol Road.
Please follow the temporary road signs and allow extra time for journeys through the area.
