- Temporary closure of Bypass and Stock Lane
The slip road between the A38 Bristol Road and Stock Lane in Langford will close on Wednesday 7 October.
The closure will operate from 9.30am to 3.30pm while Openreach carries out overhead cabling work.
HGVs turning left for access to Stock Lane will be escorted through the closure. Other drivers should follow the signed alternative route.

- Churchill footpath closure
Footpath AX14/15/10 remains closed along its full length.
A further order begins on Tuesday 6 October. The closure is expected to continue for approximately two months while excavation work connected with the development takes place.
The signed alternative route uses the A38 footway towards Jews Lane and footpaths AX14/17/10, AX14/9/10, AX14/4/20 and AX14/8/10.

- Ladymead Lane one-way system
Ladymead Lane remains one-way between the A38 and Turnpike Close.
Vehicles can enter from the A38 and travel northbound. They cannot travel southbound to exit onto the A38.
The current order began on 28 September and is expected to remain necessary for approximately 27 weeks.

- Strawberry Line weekday closures
Weekday closures continue until Friday 9 October.
The work affects the section between the tunnel near Axbridge and Winscombe Sports and Social Club. The line is closed from the A38 to the social club while diseased ash trees are removed.
The Strawberry Line remains open at weekends.

- Current bus arrangements
Services 125 and 125s have been withdrawn. The U2 is operating to a revised timetable.
Service 126 is also following a temporary diversion and special timetable due to the closure of the A371 at Draycott.
Residents should check their journey before travelling.

Advance travel notice
Bath Road in Langford will close from Friday 16 to Thursday 22 October while a new water main is installed.
From 23 October to 6 November, the closure will be replaced by temporary traffic lights and a 20mph restriction.
