Location: Footpath AX14/15/10 – approx. 195 metres north from outside Elmgrove Cottage

Reason: Excavation and development works by Vistry Homes (subject to planning consent)
North Somerset Council has issued a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order to close this section of footpath to pedestrians, in the interest of public safety during construction works.

⚠️ While the legal order allows for up to 6 months, the closure is expected to be in force for the full period, depending on development progress. Signage will be in place throughout.
🧭 Alternative Route for Pedestrians:

Use the A38 footway southbound to Jews Lane

Then take Footpath AX14/17/10

Continue east on AX14/9/10, merging into AX14/4/20

Head north via AX14/8/10 towards Bath Road
