Temporary Road Closure: Station Road, Wrington – May 2026
North Somerset Council has given notice that Station Road, Wrington will be temporarily closed to vehicles from 12th May 2026 to allow Bristol Water to carry out essential repair works.
🕒 Expected duration: Approximately 3 days
⚠️ The legal notice allows for up to 5 days, but the closure will only be in place as required.
📍 Location:
Outside Station Villa, Station Road
🔧 Works include:
Replacing two stop taps and a dangerous cover
🚨 Access will be maintained for:
- Emergency services
- Residents and properties within the closure, where safe to do so
🚗 Alternative route:
Via Butts Batch, Half Yard, Blackmoor, Langford Road, Bypass, Station Road, Red Hill, Havyatt Road, Cox’s Green, Silver Street and Broad Street
Traffic management and signage will be in place during the works.
