🚦 Temporary Traffic Lights: Towerhead Road Banwell – May 2026

Residents are advised that temporary traffic lights will be in place on Towerhead Road from 6th May 2026 for approximately two weeks.

This is part of ongoing works linked to the National Grid Hinkley Connection Project, where a new kerb will be installed along the road.

🚧 The works have been carefully planned to:

  • Keep traffic moving safely
  • Minimise disruption as much as possible

  • Some delays are likely while the lights are in operation
  • The programme is weather-dependent, so timings may change
