Stock Lane road closure: Sunday 17 January 2027
We’re sharing this advance notice on behalf of North Somerset Council.
Part of Stock Lane in Langford is expected to close to vehicles while Openreach carries out overhead cabling work.
Date: Sunday 17 January 2027
Time: 9.30am to 3.30pm
Location: From the junction with Redshard Lane, extending approximately 340 metres northwards.
Access for emergency services and works vehicles will be exempt. Access to properties that can only be reached through the closed section will be allowed where the works permit.
Please allow extra time for your journey and follow the signs displayed on the day.

Although the legal order allows a longer period, the work is expected to require just a six-hour closure.
